Sarawak Premier Witnesses Signing Of Collaborative Agreement Between AIROD & SATYS

TOULOUSE, Sun: Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg witnessed here today the signing of a Collaboration Agreement between Kuala Lumpur based-AIROD and SATYS of France,. 

This collaboration is anticipated to stimulate growth, drive technological advancement, and unlock new opportunities within Malaysia’s aerospace ecosystem, particularly in supporting Sarawak’s aspirations in the sector.  

AIROD is Malaysia’s premier aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization while SATYS is a French company renowned for its expertise in aircraft painting and sealing.  

The agreement was formalized through an exchange of official documents between Datuk Firhad Uzir Abdul Rahim representing AIROD, and Christopher Cador, Chief Executive Officer of SATYS.  

Flying in from London after a weeklong working visit to the UK, tomorrow the Premier and his delegation is scheduled to visit the Airbus facility here.

Also present to witness the signing ceremony were Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan; Sarawak Minister of Transport, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin; Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; Sarawak Attorney General, Dato Sri Saferi Ali; Sarawak Financial Secretary, Dato Sri Dr. Wan Lizozman Wan Omar; Sarawak Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning & Development), Dato Sri Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel; Chairman of NADI Group, Tan Sri Ahmad Johan; and other distinguished guests.
